Danger Jones Powder Lightener with Bonding Complex is a cool-toned, pre-dusted powder lightener. It gives 9+ levels of lift and can be used in three ways: on scalp, in foils, and for hair painting techniques. It’s the first powder lightener to combine Polycare Split™, Arginine, and specialized seaweed for healthier hair appearance when used with Danger Jones Deluxe Cream Developer. Polycare Split™ significantly reduces damage to the hair cuticle during lightening services while Arginine also gives added protection. Together they make up the bonding complex in the lightener. The addition of specialized seaweed helps prevent scalp irritation caused by chemical alkalis or oxidants making a more comfortable lightening experience. It’s ethically and sustainably sourced from the Brazilian coast and not used in other bleaching products. All Danger Jones products are salon-tested by real, behind-the-chair stylists.

Danger Jones Deluxe Cream Developers are available in five different volumes: 5, 10, 20, 30, and 40. The Powder Lightener and Color Remover have been specifically designed to work best when paired with these Deluxe Cream Developers. All five volumes can be used with Danger Jones Powder Lightener and mixed to the artists' preference based on their technique and application. Both 5 and 10 Volume can be mixed with the Color Remover to remove Danger Jones semi-permanent colors and reset the canvas for a new tone. The creamy consistency and active ingredients of Jojoba Seed Oil and Aloe Leaf Juice help to provide extra moisture when mixed. Danger Jones Artistic Toner's are progressive, which means that the longer you let them process, the deeper the tone will be. Because they are alkaline, they'll lift the hair while toning, which will eliminate any underlying warmth, unevenness, and/or banding from the lightening process. You'll want to reach for an Artistic Toner during bleaching and toning color services, as well as grey-blending techniques.

Directions for use:
- In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1:2-1:3 (color: developer) with Danger Jones Deluxe Cream Developer 5 Volume (1.5%).
- Process 5-20 minutes for progressive deposit.
- Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
Pro Tips: Process for 10 minutes for a softer color deposit, or up to 20 minutes for a deeper color deposit. Danger Jones's progressive toners give you total control.

- WHAT DOES PROGRESSIVE COLOUR MEAN? Progressive color means the longer you leave the color on the hair, the deeper the tone will be. For example, if you let it process for 5 minutes, it will be a lighter tone than if you let it process for 20 minutes.
- ARE DANGER JONES ARTISTIC TONERS ALKALINE? Yes, they’re alkaline. This helps to create a progressive color deposit to give artists total control over the shade and depth of the end result. The alkaline pH also aids in color longevity.
- WHEN SHOULD I USE AN ARTISTIC TONER? Artistic Toners are perfect to use for a bleach and tone color service. You can also use them for grey blending techniques.
- CAN I MIX THE ARTISTIC TONER COLOURS TOGETHER TO CREATE A DIFFERENT TONE? Yes, you can mix our Artistic Toner colors together to make different tones.
- WHY DO THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVE AN OPTION OF DIFFERENT MIXING RATIOS? 1:2 TO 1:3: The standard mixing ratio is 1 part Artistic Toner to 2 parts 5 volume (1.5%) Deluxe Cream Developer. If you prefer a softer color deposit, you could change the ratio to 1:3. You’re in control.
- CAN I USE A DIFFERENT DEVELOPER AND VOLUME TO MIX? We don’t recommend it. Our Artistic Toners were designed to be mixed with our 5 Volume (1.5%) Deluxe Cream Developer to give the best consistency, application and color deposit.
- DO I NEED TO SHAMPOO THE GLOSS TONERS OUT OF THE HAIR AFTER PROCESSING? Yes, since the Artistic Toners are oxidative, you shampoo them out.
- CAN I APPLY THE ARTISTIC TONERS ON TOP OF DANGER JONES SEMI-PERMANENT COLOURS? No. If you also use our semi-permanent colors, tone with our Artistic Toner first, shampoo, and then apply the semi-permanent color.
